Many thanks for your letter 53538/35 of

the 13th March last regarding the question of the exemp- tion of Air Mail receipts from assessment to the Military

Contribution.

I am prepared to leave the matter alone

for the present in the hope that it may be possible later

on to take it up with the question of productive under-

takings generally.
